Webmaster Linking Information

Not all webmasters or linking service personnel understand how to properly trade links with other websites. It is not our job to teach webmasters or linking service personnel how to do this properly, but we receive email messages everyday from non-related websites wanting a reciprocal link. We flat out ignore such requests from unrelated websites. The reason is simple: reciprocal linking between unrelated websites is pointless and offers our visitors no relevant information.

Websites we will consider linking to are educational, Wikipedia, and psychology websites; IQ or intelligence related websites, educational gaming websites as well as child psychology websites. If you feel that your website is related in some way, please do no hesitate to contact us.

How To Trade Links

The general process begins when the site owner identifies a site which he or she would like to trade links with. Generally, these sites should be relevant to the topic of your site, or at least have a section dedicated to the topic of your site. Trading links with huge numbers of unrelated sites will actually hurt your search engine rankings in most cases. Also, usually it is a good idea to look for well-ranked sites to trade links with. The importance of a well-ranked site's link to your site in search engine algorithms will be greater than those of not so well ranked sites.

As you can see, linking to a website that has no relevance as your website will hurt your search ranking in Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Linking to hundreds of websites that link back to you on offers nothing to your visitors. Every website should be built with a type of visitor in mind. Remember: Content is King!
