IQ Score 87 | Dull Normal Intelligence

The Wechsler Intelligence Scale classifies an IQ Score of 87 as dull normal intelligence. If you or someone you know scored 87 on an IQ test there are many factors which may have contributed to your low IQ score. It's possible that you may have a learning disability or have some other psychiatric issues such as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or may suffer from an anxiety disorder. Any of these factors as well as other issues could have factored in a low score. If the problem can be identified and addressed properly, there is a good chance that your IQ level is not as low as 87.

To raise your IQ score, try the following tips:

1. Don't attempt any IQ test unless you have had plenty of rest.

2. Make sure you are calm and relaxed prior to testing.

3. Turn off all distractions including radio, TV and your cellphone.

5. Have a pen and paper ready to solve problems that can't be solved in your head.

6. Think positive and you will do well.
