IQ Tests for Kids

Kids IQ Test Center is one of the few websites dedicated to measuring the intelligence of children. Since 2003, we have tested the IQ of thousands of children from all over the world. The age groups that we test range from age 3 through 15. Moreover, we offer four specific tests for measuring the IQ of children.

The first intelligence test is designed specifically for children age 3. Children in this age group are usually in Pre K or Pre-Kindergarten. The Age 3 IQ test is nicknamed "The Toddler IQ Test". This test consists of 40 multiple questions and test duration is 40 minutes. The test measures four components of intelligence including language skills, visual spatial skills, Math skills and logical ability.

The Toddler IQ Test is a non-verbal/culture fair test for children. This test requires parental supervision from start to finish. The parent or guardian will guide the child through the test and help him understand the questions. However, this must be done in a manner not to infer the correct answer. Doing so will skew test results and upon completion, the IQ score will not be correct.

Your role is to simply make sure that your child understands the question and then allow him to select the correct answer. This test consists of pictures, drawings and symbols and there are no written questions for the child to read.

Toddlers are at a very impressionable age and they have a remarkable tendency to learn things quickly. If you want to give your child the best possibility to learn how to read and learn how to spell and solve math problems at an early age we recommend that you try Hooked on Phonics It may pay off in the long run and just may help your child to some day to get accepted into an Ivy League School.

IQ Test Ages 4 - 6: The seconded intelligence test for children is designed for ages 4 through 6. This test is specifically created for children in Pre-K through first graders. This exam consists of questions related to numbers, words and pictures. The test consists of 25 multiple-choice questions and the test duration is 40 minutes.

Although children in this age group understand basic grammar and language, it is recommended that you supervise your child while he takes the test. Children in this age group have the tendency to daydream and not stay on task so you need to be present to make sure he stays on task; and especially so if your child has dyslexia, learning disorders, attention deficit disorder or is mildly retarded. Children with special needs require one on one supervision during the testing process.

IQ Test Ages 7 - 9: The third intelligence test is for children ages 7 through 9, and specifically created for children in grade 1 through grade 3. This exam consists of 35 questions with a one-hour time limit. It consists of questions related to numbers, series, words and pictures.

Children in this age group usually require direct supervision while taking the test. This is usually due to distractions; however, children with dyslexia, learning disorders, attention deficit disorder or mildly retarded children will require supervison throughout the entire exam. Moreover, your child may not understand a question and you should be there to help him understand the question and to rephrase the question in a manner he will understand, but do so only in a way that does not influence his decision.

IQ Test Ages 10 - 15: The fourth intelligence test is the Kids IQ Test and it is for kids in the 10 to 15 age group. Kids in this age bracket are usually in grade 4 through grade 9. This exam consists of questions related to numbers, series, words, pictures and computations. Moreover, this test is comprised of 40 multiple-choice questions and there is a 40-minute time limit on this test.

Unless your child has dyslexia, learning disorders, attention deficit disorder or is mildly retarded, your child should be able to self-administer this exam. However, a parent or guardian needs to initiate the test, by purchasing the exam, and then explain the directions to your child so he can begin the test.

Even though kids at this age group need little or no supervision, a parent or guardian needs to be on hand in case the child has a question regarding a problem. You need to remind your child that when he reaches the last question that he should call for you so you can make sure that there are no omitted questions; and to make sure that you follow the directions to receive his IQ score and IQ test results.

Adult IQ Test: The last IQ test that we offer is for ages 16 and older. This test consists of 40 multiple-choice questions and the test duration is 40 minutes.
