The IQ of Famous People

The IQ of Famous People made its debut in 2005 and since then it has been shared or bookmarked on almost 30,000 social network sites! It started out with just a handful of famous people but has grown in to four pages of famous IQ's. We have plans to ad new celebrity IQ's by the end of the month so check back often for the update.

You will find some of the most intelligent celebrities from Hollywood and from around the world listed on The IQ of Famous People. Some are well known and a few are not so well known. Take for instance, a not so well know person, Kim Ung Yong, who has an IQ of 210 and is reported to be the smartest man in the world. Kim Ung-yong is a Korean civil engineer and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records under "Highest IQ".

And of course almost everyone knows of the famously brilliant Stephen Hawking who has an IQ of 160. If you don't know who Stephen Hawking is here's a quick bio on him: Stephen Hawking is the former Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. He has authored several books and is often interviewed on popular TV stations such as the Discovery Channel and the History Channel, and most of the questions that he is asked revolves around cosmology and physics. He also is wheelchair bound and uses a computer to vocalize what he has to say which is due to his medical condition of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig Disease.

Marilyn Vos Savant is reported to be the smartest woman in the world. In 1985, Marilyn Vos Savant, was inducted to the Guinness Book of World Records for Highest IQ for a woman. At the time, her IQ was measured at 190. However, at age ten, she took the 1937 version of the Standford-Binet and her IQ was measured at 228.
