Wide Range Intelligence Test
The Wide Range Intelligence Test (WRIT) is a NEW cognitive measure which provides streamlined efficiency without sacrificing psychometric integrity. Examiners can easily learn to administer this new ability test which spans ages from 4 to 80 years. The materials are attractive and "user friendly.
The WRIT yields a Verbal (Crystallized) IQ and a Visual (Fluid) IQ, which generate a General IQ when combined. The Vocabulary and Verbal Analogies form the Verbal Scale and the Matrices and Diamonds form the Visual Scale. The Vocabulary Analogies subtest requires an individual to complete verbal analogies dictated to them by the examiner.
