Test of Kindergarten First Grade Readiness Skills

The Test of Kindergarten/First Grade Readiness Skills evaluates readiness in reading, spelling and arithmetic skills. The test is designed for children 3.6 - 7.0 years of age and the test takes about 20 minutes to administer. The TKFGRS is a specialized readiness instrument which focuses on the child's basic skills in reading, spelling and arithmetic. Because it is standardized, it allows the teacher to evaluate the child, and establish a baseline of skills for the entire class, relative to a national norm.
