California Achievement Test - CATThe California Achievement Test (CAT) is a norm- and criterion referenced achievement test for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Form E was published in 1985 and assesses student achievement across the following subject areas (although content varies by grade level): reading, language, spelling, mathematics, and study skills, with optional coverage of science and social studies. Two newer versions of the CAT have been published since the publication of Form E back in 1985; however, the CAT assessment data referenced in this report are from Form E. |
