Ben Moody

Ben Robert Moody (born January 22, 1980, in Little Rock, Arkansas, U.S.) is a singer?songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor. He is best known as co-founder, lead guitarist, and songwriter of Grammy Award-winning rock band Evanescence from 1995 to October 2003. Since leaving Evanescence, Moody has collaborated with an array of performers, both vocally and as a writer.

From an MTV article written by Rodrigo Perez, Ben was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and has dealt with drug and alcohol abuse as prior to leaving the band Evanescence. Ben is now collaborating with many singers and musicians including Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson and Anastacia.
